Knight & Bishop Online Chess Course

The Knight & Bishop Mate

One of the most common questions I get is, “can you show me how to do the bishop and knight checkmate?” It’s definitely a tricky mate and it has even fooled some grandmasters who weren’t able to pull it off. Having a walkthrough guide will be a nice resource for any chess player who would like to learn how to do the checkmate or review it for when it happens. This checkmate will usually take place at the end of a long game, often in time pressure. Trying to figure this out over the board will be a big challenge. It’s better to be prepared. Make sure you’re able to do this checkmate by going through this lesson!
