Sign up for chess training with our online group chess classes and learn to play chess from experienced chess teachers like Grandmaster Mackenzie Molner. Grandmaster Mac Chess Academy’s new online group classes are the most affordable and cost effective way to improve your game, learn to play chess online and are a great alternative to private online chess coaching. These group chess classes are perfect as online chess training for kids and adults all levels. These online group chess classes will be kept to a maximum of 10 students to ensure that it is the best learning environment for you to learn chess online. Topics from openings to endgames are available and will give you the best online chess training and opportunity to improve your play. Our online chess classes are about a wide range of chess topics and are great as online chess training for beginners, kids, adults and advanced players.

Online Group classes are a great and affordable alternative to private chess classes

Group chess classes for kids are currently offered from 6-7 pm EST on Mondays for players from unrated – 500 rated and also on Saturdays from 9-10 EST for players ranging from 800-1300. The cost is $25 dollars per class and all classes are give by chess teachers and chess instructors who all have completed their Grandmasters norm. Don’t see a group chess class that fits your needs? Reach out anyway! We have an interest list of students who want a class to start and learn chess online. Our chess teachers and chess instructors may be able to offer one with players around your ability level. We are also happy to accommodate pre-existing groups or plan classes around themes. My son has been taking chess lessons from Mac for 1.5 years as either private lessons or part of his group virtual summer camp program. Lessons with Mac are something my son looks forward to all day! He often starts the lesson with a new tactic or skill he wants my son to work on, then they often review one of my sons recent games and discuss different moves and ways he could have played, and then ends the lesson by playing a game. The group lessons were a fun experience where in addition to the new tactics that were taught, my son also had the opportunity to play against other kids roughly his age/ability in quick games in a tournament style. He was always so excited for every win and seeing where he ranked at the end of the class. I am very glad to have found Mac as a coach, he is patient, has taught my son a lot about chess, and most importantly helped my sons love for chess grow!
